The Verna Police on Wednesday arrested Aslam Khan(54) resident of Baina for killing Anwar Shaikh from Zuarinagar Sancoale over Previous enmity.
Police informed that accused Aslam Khan confessed that he assaulted victim with hammer over the face and fled away from spot with his scooter and also took away the mobile phone to destroy the evidence.
During the course of investigation technical surveillance was mounted and we obtained crucial lead after which Aslam Khan was apprehended. Accused person have confessed that he assaulted the deceased over Previous enmity. Further investigation is in progress
