Vasco Police arrested one Shahrukh Shaikh, resident of Sainagar Vasco and seized ₹1 lakh in cash that he was allegedly distributing to the voters. Police said that they received complaint and he was arrested after following procedures. On Sunday evening Shahrukh family contacted media and made counter allegations against Vasco police. They said that Police officials picked up Shahrukh when he was having dinner at home and the money was kept at home lockert for medical emergency as Shahrukh’s wife is pregnant.
