The aggrieved employees of Mormugao Municipal Council on Thursday raised their protest against municipal authorities for non disbursement of two months salaries. The municipal union leaders met MMC chairperson Damodar Kaskar and chief officer Jayant Tari and given an ultimatum to clear two months salaries by coming Monday, failing which they threatened to strike the work. It may be recalled that the municipal employees did not get their two months salaries of January and February, wherein they are struggling hard to tackle with day today problems arising in their families.
